Maserati Neighbors and Family Rejections! Zigita and Liberty Burns Shake Up the IGT Stage!

Celebrity Neighbors and Back-to-Back Family Heartbreaks: A Chaotic Night on IGT

The latest round of Ireland’s Got Talent proved that reality television can be an unforgiving roller coaster. From local neighborhood call-outs to a high-stakes mother-daughter double feature, the judging panel had to deliver some incredibly tough love to a series of hopeful performers.

Thank you for watching!

The night kicked off with a burst of humor when a rapper named Zigita stepped onto the star. She immediately caught the room’s attention by revealing that she actually lives in the Liberties next door to head judge Louis Walsh. Zigita drew laughs by describing how she regularly spots Louis “cruising around the neighborhood in a Maserati with his shades on.” Unfortunately, her neighborhood connection couldn’t save her performance. Taking on Eminem’s iconic, rapid-fire anthem “Lose Yourself,” Zigita struggled heavily with the rhythm and vocal delivery. While Louis kindly noted that Eminem would be proud of her effort, the panel ultimately passed on her act. Comedian Jason Byrne hilariously suggested that she should take her rap routine straight to Louis’s bedroom window on a daily basis instead.

The emotional stakes reached a peak later in the episode with an unusual back-to-back family audition. First up was Liberty Burns, a 19-year-old face painter and artist who dropped out of school to pursue her dream of singing. Liberty brought massive energy to the stage with a cover of Shakira’s upbeat pop track “Whenever, Wherever.” While she nailed the choreography, her vocal control suffered under the heavy movement, leading to a gentle rejection from the panel. In a fascinating twist, the judges then welcomed Liberty’s mother, Tanya, who stepped out immediately afterward to try and redeem the family name. Channeling a classic Marilyn Monroe cabaret style, Tanya sang the sultry standard “I Wanna Be Loved By You.” Despite a charming effort, the performance failed to meet the competitive standard of the live shows, forcing the judges to hit their red buzzers. Michelle Visage noted it was a tragic day for the household, sending mother and daughter backstage to console one another.
