The BGT Diss Track: Ren DMC Roasts KSI and Serenades the Panel
The Britain’s Got Talent stage has seen plenty of tribute acts and comedy sets, but East London youth worker Ren DMC brought an entirely different flavor to the auditions. Stepping onto the stage with a calm, friendly demeanor, Ren initially explained that his day job is all about inspiring young people. However, the moment the backing track dropped, he turned the auditorium into a hilarious, high-energy roast session that caught the judges completely off guard.

Ren kicked off his rap routine by turning up the charm for the female judges. He playfully serenaded Alesha Dixon, telling her she looked like Alicia Keys and reminiscing about watching her back in her Mis-Teeq days, calling them the “televised version of the Spice Girls.” He then turned his sights on Amanda Holden, delivering a clever rhyme about wanting a golden buzzer to be “the man that Amanda is holding.” But just as the panel was warming up to his smooth talk, the track took a sharp, hilarious turn into absolute chaos.
The main target of Ren’s comedic wrath was guest judge KSI (JJ). Ren unleashed a savage, rapid-fire diss track that had the entire arena—and Simon Cowell—erupting into roars of laughter. He ruthlessly mocked the size of KSI’s forehead and slammed his entertainment empire, rapping that while Prime energy drinks are great, KSI’s movies and music are “both terrible.” He capped off the roast by taking a jab at KSI’s boxing career, stating, “I know why you hit your opponents—’cause you can’t make a hit in your music.” Wisely, Ren chose to spare Simon Cowell from the roasting, offering a lyrical peace offering instead to secure his spot. While a defeated KSI jokingly told Ren to “just go away,” Simon praised the set as “bloody funny and brilliant,” helping Ren sail through to the next round with three massive “yeses.”
